Tomten and Socks Fever

Well, we had a beautiful weekend in Connecticut, but it looks like we'll have to pay now with Thunderstorms predicated for the next day or so. In fact, a brief storm right at game time tonight caused the young one's Little League game to get cancelled. Of course, this was a make-up game, which had also been cancelled due to rain!!

But, despite the rain today, we spent most of the weekend outside.

Madame sure enjoys the nice weather. She really prefers laying out in the grass to just about anything else.

And the young one likes to do his best Tom Sawyer impersonation - I can't get any shoes on him from May to September. We decided that this summer we're going to do a study of the works of Mark Twain, especially Tom Sawyer and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. We're even planning a trip to Mark Twain's house up in Hartford.

Knitting wise, I've really made progress on my EZ Tomten sweater. This picture show it with the back and fronts almost done, but I've now re-joined the fronts and back and may even finish the hood part today.

Taking advantage of the natural light, I searched my stash to try to find a contrasting yarn for the first few rows of the Tomten sleeve and for an I-cord edging. The white, pink, and yellow yarn all match, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to go with the pale yellow. Just think that it will be the most attractive.

Duchess, though, seems to disagree. After looking the yarn all over, I do believe she likes the pink the best.

Mr. and Mrs. Mallard also appeared to be interested what we were doing. We've had the Mallard family visit us now every Spring for close to 40 years. Now, I know that it can't bee the same pair of ducks all this time, but I do believe that they are descendent.

Well, I ended up starting ANOTHER project. I had joined a group last year, Six Sox Knitalong - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Six_Sox_Knitalong/, but I was too late to make all 6 pairs of socks, and I kept putting off making socks because I've heard that sock-knitting is addictive. Well, let me just say, yes, yes it is. With a new year of socks starting on the list, I broke down and started my first pair. This is the first time I have ever done anything on a size one!!! needle. This pattern is called Chutes and Ladders And is the sock knit-along for June and July. I have this enormous stash of wool/nylon finger weight machine knitting yarn left over from my days of custom sweater business so I guess I'm all set for lots of socks. And I do believe I've found out what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year.

Off to my Tomten and my socks - just have to move the bulldog out of my way, she doesn't understand that it's not HER bed!!

EGTY trading volume is beginning to surge with landslide Announcement.
The value of this Stoc,k appears poised for growth! This one will not

-Energy and Asset Technology, Inc. (EGTY) owns a global license to market
the genetically enhanced Global Cedar growth trees, with plans to
REVOLUTIONIZE the forest-timber industry.

These newly enhanced Globa| Cedar trees require only 9-12 years of growth
before they can be harvested for lumber, whereas worldwide growth time for
lumber is 30-50 years.

Other than growing at an astonishing rate, the Global Cedar has a number
of other benefits. Its natural elements make it resistant to termites, and
the lack of oils and sap found in the wood make it resistant to forest fire,
ensuring higher returns on investments.
he wood is very lightweight and strong, lighter than Poplar and over twice
as strong as Balsa, which makes it great for construction. It also has
the unique ability to regrow itself from the stump, minimizing the land and
time to replant and develop new root systems.

Based on current resources and agreements, EGTY projects revenues of $140
Million with an approximate profit margin of 40% for each 9-year cycle. With
anticipated growth, EGTY is expected to challenge Deltic Timber Corp. during
its initial 9-year cycle.

Deltic Timber Corp. currently trades at over $38.00 a share with about $153
Million in revenues. As the reputation and demand for the Global Cedar tree
continues to grow around the world EGTY believes additional multi-million
dollar agreements will be forthcoming. The Global Cedar nursery has produced
about 100,000 infant plants and is developing a production growth target of
250,000 infant plants per month.

Energy and Asset Technology is currently in negotiations with land and business
owners in New Zealand, Greece and Malaysia regarding the purchase of their popular
and profitable fast growing infant tree plants. Inquiries from the governments of
Brazil and Ecuador are also being evaluated.

The examples above show the Awesome, Earning Potential of little
known Companies That Explode onto Investors Radar Screens.
This s-t0ck will not be a Secret for long. Then You May Feel the Desire to Act Right
Now! And Please Watch This One Trade!!
